Name: Teresa Genova

Age: Eighteen

Appearance: Teresa is a fairly tall girl, at 6'0, with a rather bony frame. She has long, narrow features and sharp green eyes. Her dark brown hair falls to her shoulders in soft waves; she's taken to dying it a deep red. She enjoys wearing bold colours and asymmetrical cuts.

As Phoenix, she wears a red and gold costume, with a black cape, black boots, and a black mask reminiscent of a bird's eyes.

Abilities: Teresa is a shapeshifter; she can transform into birds.

Personality: Teresa is a fierce, passionate girl who doesn't take shit from anybody, no matter who they are. This has been known to cause trouble, but in her eyes it's worth it; she won't compromise who she is just because it's easier. That doesn't mean she never takes peoples' feelings into account, though she might be slow to realise them.

She's very protective of underdogs, of people who can't defend themselves quite as readily as she does. She doesn't tolerate bigotry or bullying or abuse of power.

If you fuck with her brother she will punch you in the face.

History: It's difficult to discuss Teresa without noting her twin, Terence. Their parents didn't choose to name them similarly; Teresa chose to base her name on his because of his love and loyalty.

When their parents had identical twins, they thought they were twin boys. When a teenage Teresa told them differently, they reacted badly.

It wasn't difficult for Teresa to run, and run far, because she had another secret, one she shared with Terry - the pair are shapeshifters. Teresa can turn into birds, him into reptiles.

She never expected Terence to follow her.

At first, they lived as normally as they could, flying under the radar and just trying to get by. Then, one day, they were saved by a vigilante during at attack at a queer rally.

It took some convincing, for Terry, but eventually, Teresa and Terrence became Phoenix and Python, the latest two members of a ragtag group of young vigilantes.
